ABS Edgebanding for Hot Air / Lazer and Standard applications
ABS is synthesized from three chemical monomers of acrylonitrile, butadiene, and styrene.
Acrylonitrile has high strength, thermal stability, and chemical stability. Butadiene has toughness and impact resistance. Styrene has easy processing, high gloss and high strength.

Hot Air / Lazer Application
Hot Air Edgebanding is applied without adhesive. Made of 1.2 mm ABS, it melts and bonds with the substrate and fills in voids and pits on the edges to result in an encased, zero-edge, water-resistant substrate. Super matte faces with matching edge banding give the look of a continuous painted surface without cracking or peeling with an easy-to-maintain surface. High gloss edgebanding has a reflectivity of 91° and super matte a reflectivity of 4°.
Coated with a special formulated lacquer that reflects like glass, this edgebanding has an SSR (Super Scratch-Resistant) coating. The surface is protected with a film for transportation and installation.
Matching our panels, this edgebaning is stain, scratch and fingerprint resistant due to the SSR (Super Scratch-Resistant) coating. These solid color edgebands are durable with a silky smooth texture. Ideal for high traffic areas.
